The Smith Center Presents – The Fatherhood Project 2014

A few weeks ago, I was inspired by my peers to create a new project in the hopes of creating a new approach to opening up the dialogue with parents in regards to addressing some of their strengths and weaknesses in regards to being a parent and share those concerns in an open forum. The goal is to create a full video workshop series and taking the conversation further in regards to young parents and parents who may feel that they are “alone” in their struggles.

The Fatherhood Project 2014 is a Pilot Project that I started with a few close friends to basically shed some light on what it means to be a Father in this generation as well as offer advice and support to anyone that might need it. This was a very candid and open project that the volunteers went into willingly and the results were very enlightening and in some ways emotional.

Here are a few of those sessions

The ultimate goal is to create a fully produced project and to use these documentaries to facilitate workshops for men and women. There will also be a Motherhood Project 2014 in the works in the near future. I would like to thank the following who supported this project:
