Welcome to the return of the Smith Center Spotlight! A platform where we will be highlighting individuals who we view as people you need to know and support for various reasons and more importantly because they speak to our mission and vision of putting words into action! This young man in particular, Mr. Ward decided on his birthday which was June 19th (Juneteenth) to host a march in the community to show his love of the culture and the movement!
We enjoyed this conversation and we hope you reach out to him and pour him into him words of encouragement and support in any way possible!
We will continue to promote agents of change and positive energy in these spotlights and we hope you will continue to support us as we continue to grow and relaunch our nonprofit to be the virtual community center we want it to be.
