2nd Annual Turkey and Toy Drives for the Smith Center

Last year, with just a couple of dollars, idealistic dreams and a whole lot of support, The Smith Center for Community Advancement was able to provide turkeys and toys for families in need for the holidays. It was our first charitable venture as an organization and the experience was memorable and beneficial for so many people!
This year we are pleased to announce that our 2nd Annual Turkey and Toy Drive is in full swing and we are accepting donations and contributions NOW until Tuesday, November 25th for turkeys and food gift cards. For Christmas we will be accepting toys and gift cards for our Toy Drive until Saturday, December 20th with a Toy Gift Wrap Party and Giveaway. If you know of any families in need please go to our Facebook Page or send us a message on our website at http://tscca.org/contact/ to give us the name and information of a NEEDY family that could benefit from an unexpected suprise this holiday season. If selected we will then contact you so you can help setup the arrangement UNLESS you want to stay anonymous.
All donations and contributions are tax deductible as we are a 501c3 nonprofit thanks to our fiscal sponsor Goodcity.
Stipulations
- Chicago Area Residents Only
- Must have access to transportation OR be available at designated date& time for food/toy pick up.
- No third party referrals (ie. I’m calling for a friend.. THEY must contact us individually)
- Age range for children must be specified. Children 14-16 will receive gift cards (until supplies last)
