Chicago Toy Story!
The Smith Center for Community Advancement is PROUD to announce that we will be going forward with our FIRST Toy Drive and Giveaway!!!
Starting Wednesday, December 4th all the way until Thursday, December 12th the Smith Center will be collecting new and slightly used toys to gift to families in need this upcoming Holiday.
We will have OFFICIAL drop off locations at the following:
- The Insurance Exchange – 14930 S. Cicero, Oak Forest, IL
- The Salon and Spa – 1441 W. 127th Street, Calumet Park, IL
- Twiddle Tiny Tots Home Daycare – 1335 N. Austin Blvd
On Saturday, December 14th we will host a Gift Wrapping Party and Toy Giveaway in which we will invite the families to come out and pick up the toys… and maybe a visit from Santa Claus!!!
Location – Rose of Light Missionary Baptist Church – 1302 W 74th St, Chicago, IL – 12-4pm
We are currently looking for volunteers and donors for the following for the 14th:
- - Gift Wrapping and Itemizing
- - Food and refreshments
- - Setup Decorations
